Cancellation Policy:
- A non-refundable deposit of $400 is required at the time of booking to secure your spot.
- A minimum monthly payment of $400 is due monthly until the trip is paid in full.
- Final payment must be made 90 days before the trip start date.
- Cancellations made more than 6 months before the trip start date will receive a full refund (excluding the deposit).
- Cancellations made 3 to 6 months before the trip start date will receive a 50% refund (excluding the deposit).
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations made within 3 months of the trip start date.
- A $50 penalty will be charged for any outstanding balance after the final payment date found – which is 90 days before the trip start date.

What if I've never traveled internationally and I'm scared?
We understand that traveling to a new country for the first time can be daunting. That’s why we take care of everything for you! From airport transfers to guided tours, your very own personal concierge at your finger tips and your retreat host, you’ll have support throughout your time in Dubai. Our experienced team will be with you every step of the way to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
What type of money is accepted in Dubai?
The currency throughout the UAE (including Dubai) is the United Arab Emirate Dirham (AED, or often written Dhs in Dubai).
The AED is pegged to the U.S. dollar at a rate of AED 3.6724 to 1 USD (or AED1 = $0.2722); it does not fluctuate, but you will usually have to pay a fee to exchange. U.S. dollars are often accepted in souks and malls, but not for low-value items such as a cup of coffee or tea.
US Dollars can be exchanged for Arab Emirate Dirham at many major banks or money exchange companies within the US with advance notice.
Traveler’s checks are not commonly used as payment for goods and services in Dubai.
Major credit cards are accepted throughout Dubai.
It is advised to travel with more than 1 form of payment.

Dubai is a very safe city with a low crime rate. The UAE places a high priority on tourism safety, and you’ll find a visible surveillance throughout the city. We’ll also provide you with general tips to ensure a worry-free experience.
How should I dress and behave in public?
Many things such as alcohol, dancing, loud music, and scanty clothing are permitted to an extent, but it’s best to keep things moderate. Alcohol is sold in bars and restaurants all over the city, but disorderly drunkenness will not be tolerated. There are nightclubs and concerts where people may dance and hook up, but excessive PDAs are a no-no, and you’ll get locked up for engaging in a sexual act in a public space. A conservative attitude toward nudity and revealing attire prevails. It’s fine to walk around the mall in shorts, and bikinis are permitted on the beach, but don’t take it too far (no thongs or topless sunbathing), no tank tops for a visit to the mosque. Note that the more remote the area, the more conservative it is likely to be.
Are there any banned substances & materials?
Customs regulations in Dubai generally follow standard expectations, but there is zero tolerance for pornography and drugs. Many over-the-counter and prescription medicines are banned in the UAE (including over-the-counter cold and flu tablets with codeine, commonly sold in Europe and Australia). The Embassy of Abu Dhabi (another emirate in the UAE) maintains a list of restricted medications on its website. All forms of opiates are completely banned in the UAE, even poppy seeds (commonly used elsewhere on rolls and bagels). You may be allowed to bring restricted drugs into the UAE if they are prescribed to you by your doctor, but you must carry a copy of the prescription with you. Although the authorities may be understanding and simply confiscate the items (if you can’t prove they were prescribed to you), they can decide to detain you or arrest you for drug smuggling. In addition to pharmaceutical products, there are heavy penalties for bringing recreational drugs into the country, even small amounts for personal use. If found guilty of smuggling, you’ll be liable for a jail sentence of three years minimum.

Does Dubai welcome LGBTQ+?
Homosexuality is forbidden in the UAE, but you’re not going to be refused entry over it, and the fact remains, that you definitely still have the potential for a great time in Dubai, no matter what your sexual preferences are. As with all kinds of PDAs, keep them for later. It’s also probably best not to chat up a same-sex customs officer, or start a gay pride march in the street. Interestingly enough, you may see men strolling down the street holding hands, or kissing each other (on the cheeks) warmly in greeting. This is only a sign of friendship for some cultures, much like a slap on the back.
What if the cost of this retreat is too high for me?

What if the retreat is too short for me?
This retreat is designed to be the perfect balance of exploration and relaxation. While seven days may seem short, we’ve carefully curated the itinerary to ensure you experience the best of Dubai without feeling rushed. However, if you’d like to extend your stay, we can happily assist you in booking additional nights at our luxurious hotel.
How long is the flight and how do I book it?
While flights are not included, we are happy to assist you with the booking process. We can recommend reputable airlines with comfortable flight options and help you find the best deals.
We acknowledge that Dubai is a long-haul flight for many (12 to 15 hours if flying direct from the USA). However, consider it an investment in yourself! The transformative experiences and memories you create will be well worth the travel time. Many airlines offer comfortable amenities and in-flight entertainment and meals to make the journey more enjoyable.
I don't speak the language, how am I going to travel there?
While Arabic is the official language, English is widely spoken in Dubai, particularly in tourist areas. Our guides are all fluent in English and will be happy to assist you with any communication needs. Additionally, we’ll provide you with cultural tips to enhance your experience.
Do I need a Passport or Visa?
All visitors entering the UAE need a valid passport, and it must be valid for at least six months beyond their stay in Dubai.
EU citizens entering the UAE for tourism purposes will be presented with a free 90-day Visit visa when they enter the country, while American, Canadian, and U.K. passport holders will receive a free 30 day visa. *
